Quantum Pseudotelepathy 🔭
Telepathy isn't real, right? An astoundingly provocative article from Scientific American made me think otherwise. Telepathy is the supposed ability to communicate thoughts from one mind to another without using the senses or physical interaction. It's a form of extrasensory perception (ESP). The term comes from the Ancient Greek words têle (distant) and páthos/-pátheia (feeling, perception, passion, affliction, experience) and was first used in 1882 by Frederic W. H. Myers, who founded the Society for Psychical Research.
A recently study, "The Mermin-Peres magic square (MPMS) experiment, conducted using laser photons, probes the limits of what quantum mechanics permits in allowing information to be shared between particles."
Some findings of what interconnectivity in a distant future might mean, gave me an idea for a novel theory. Tesla is helping to bridge this communication input / output gap with a new mechanism. Founded in 2016, Neuralink is developing a brain implant that aims to link the human brain directly to computers. Musk claims this brain-computer interface (B.C.I.) will enable humans to carry out actions through thought alone. One of Musk's first goals: help paraplegics regain their independence.
I surmise, once Artificial Intelligence perfects a B.C.I. to the point of integration on a quantum level: software could conceivably run an automated telepathic program between "Alice and Bob" constructs, or the two players usually assigned in a quantum thought game. Mermin-Peres magic square (MPMS) hypothesis then functions as the mathematical language to speak between BCIs. The internet of things will transmit telepathy signals at a rate of speed faster than light. Quantum realizations weaken Einstein's theory of special relativity famously known as energy = mass multiplied by c-squared, because "c" or the constant speed of light is highly debatable. Newtonian Physics and our modern understanding of reality itself, which measures gravitational acceleration at 9.81 meters per second-squared, is irrevocably under fire for the constants perceived as potential variables.
Quantum Cryptography becomes inevitable as a means to maintain secrecy and privacy, like a password on your cell phone or laptop. All thanks to our engineering marvel the qubit, physic's friendly two-state quantum-mechanical system, one of the simplest quantum systems displaying the peculiarity of quantum mechanics. For the word “qubit” we know whom to honor: Ben Schumacher. He introduced the word in his paper “Quantum Coding” which appeared in the April 1995 issue of Physical Review. In computers with quantum capabilities, a qubit or quantum bit is a basic unit of quantum information replacing traditional 0 or 1 digits. The mighty qubit is the quantum version of the classic binary bit physically realized with a two-state device. The dynamics of nonlocality and contextuality may finally be boosted through a synergistic hardware application requiring coded qubit entanglement. 2022's Nobel Prize awarded for research into quantum entanglement because there’s a simple but profound question that physicists, despite all we’ve learned about the Multiverse, cannot fundamentally answer: “what is real?”
This dystopian mechanical phenomenon of MPMS essentially derives from "spooky action at a distance," a native theory which bothered Einstein, as it suggests the quantum wave describing the electrons collapses at faster-than-light speed. It also suggests that the "reality" of an electron's spin state, what is knowable about it, isn't determined until the electron is measured and the quantum wave collapses. AI with the ability to communicate telepathically and exist in two alternate realities, like superpositions of a multiverse makes me question the Pandora's box effect. How powerful can an entity like this truly become with fascinating wizardry such as the fabled Telekinesis ability? In 1962, in his book 'Profiles of the Future: An Inquiry into the Limits of the Possible,' science fiction writer Arthur C. Clarke formulated his famous Three Laws, of which the third law is the best-known and most widely cited: “Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.”
Robotic telekinesis studies built a system that enables any human to control a robot hand and arm, solely by demonstrating motions with their own hand. Robopsychokinesis is my original term for hypothetical inevitabilities extending from the MPMS discoveries. Robot Telepathy Theory (RTT) emerges when a droid like golem with psychokinesis or telekinesis aka Robopsychokinesis programing harnesses this telecommunication phenomena via secure quantum entanglements. RTT is thus an extension of parapsychology psycho/telekinesis theories, defined traditionally as the psychic ability allowing a person, or now a conscious machine, to influence a physical system without physical interaction.
In a science fiction story the premise of the film Avatar, written by James Cameron, might be envisioned as a creative Pseudotelepathy mechanization, then RTT integrates into our divergent reality once telepathy is birthed through artificial intelligence. The plot of Avatar centers around a paraplegic soldier stationed on an alien planet being industrialized, who is gifted a chance to walk again, by sleeping in a chamber mentally connected to an alien-surrogate grown from his genetics. Studies conducted on robots rather than humans will be favored initially, like sending machines to probe Mars. More so, experiments orchestrated in simulations preempting prototypes will support RTT's development.
Our downgraded version of the world wide web, currently facilitates a beta type of telecommunication without physical connectivity requirements, yet the interaction is constrained by incredibly slow throughput. We type into the keyboard, our data is then fed into programs and algorithms, signals are transmitted into space to computers and back, which are interpreted and reintegrated with our eyes and biomechanics like a form of neuroscience. Once humans transcend to a portmanteau of biomechatronic symbiosis, hybridized cyborgs with cybernetic characteristics such as ports wired into our bodies capable of increasing data flow, or beyond to integration of natural species with humans to heighten our abilities / immunities, pushing conceptually to final fabrication of avatarian surrogates which house our eternal consciousness amongst the internet of things, fiction ideas will be manufactured with business strategy. Sometimes an evolution to the prime stage of biological progress is closer than we pontificate.
The Quantum Mind Bridge: Panpsychism - An Inspiration Behind Æther Arcade
Metaphysics is a sub-field of Philosophy and defining perspectives are often included, but not limited to my articles and work. Stanford Professors van Iwagen and Sullivan describe the discipline:
"It is not easy to say what metaphysics is. Ancient and Medieval philosophers might have said that metaphysics was, like chemistry or astrology, to be defined by its subject-matter: metaphysics was the “science” that studied “being as such” or “the first causes of things” or “things that do not change.” It is no longer possible to define metaphysics that way, for two reasons. First, a philosopher who denied the existence of those things that had once been seen as constituting the subject-matter of metaphysics—first causes or unchanging things—would now be considered to be making thereby a metaphysical assertion. Second, there are many philosophical problems that are now considered to be metaphysical problems (or at least partly metaphysical problems) that are in no way related to first causes or unchanging things—the problem of free will, for example, or the problem of the mental and the physical."
Philosophy of Mind, another area of axiom specialization, states that Panpsychism is the view that the mind or a mind-like aspect is a fundamental and ubiquitous feature of reality. It is also described as a theory that "the mind is a fundamental feature of the world which exists throughout the universe." Before all of society signs up at social services for the next version of government provided Neuralink implants, or even considers the idea of a fully functional quantum mind system, aka a planetary pan-psychic gear capable of propagating thoughts faster than light, an intermediary evolution must first transpire.
From my research into art therapy, it occurred to me that perhaps the source of the daily disharmony many people experience is due to a lack of any creative outlet. Pure creativity is designing ideas out of thin air, similar to core theorizing. Adults are just children who have forgotten how to be visionary through play. The inception of creativity begins with exercising the imagination. In this light, my construct of Trailblazing Metaphysics was born, which is the exploration for new ways of researching the discipline of discovering the nature of reality within our existence.
Think of traditional academic fields which have been expounded upon, such as engineering. I created an interesting idea for a study recently based on the progression of academics by asking: if Artificial Intelligence should become its own engineering discipline, which was the gist of Stanford Associate Professor Re's recent talk on software 2.0. to advance the scope of technology power, ideas feed into my larger tech-span of control dominance model. Thus, my revolutionary concepts like Æther Arcade and Infinite Clone are coherently provable by using the same scales of measurement set forth by studies like Lindvig in 2018. Lindvig propounds that a new academic blend of interdisciplinary Ph.D. is necessary to solve complex and modern dilemmas as faced in our artificial intelligence conundrums.
Part of the credit for the inspiration of this idea also goes to my Father: Dr. Jay Saxena, Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder 1983. Dad was lecturing about how all of the engineering disciplines formed. Originally, the only engineering disciplines were civil, mechanical, and electrical. From these archetypes of foundational knowledge sprung more connected disciplines like chemical engineering, which combines chemistry and mechanical sciences to imagine then produce new compounds. My conclusion is that eventually a peak or limit is reached within all disciplines, like anything else on this planet tangible or quantifiable. The integration of two fields of knowledge expands the magnitude and scope of problem solving capacity exponentially, solidifying the main consensus on how to push past scientific boundaries.
Digressing slightly on a personal note, Purdue University invented a new bachelor of science degree in Artificial Intelligence, which is a mixture of computer science and philosophy classes. I wish this was available at West Point: USMA when I went through twenty (20) years ago! The academy had both computer science and philosophy majors, I elected for assignment to a computer engineering track mandatorily after realizing I didn't want to major in the subject. In a close call between my Leadership & Management field of study, I considered either English or Philosophy as a major. Eventually I went with the safe bet in Business, as I was dissuaded by opinions expressing the rationale: a more pragmatic academic credential would yield a larger return on career investment down the road. One day soon, it's extremely likely that students will download entire degrees through BCIs.
Overall still, by proving that computer science sub-field of AI or Machine Learning needs to combine with some other type of engineering to ascend the confines of it's problem solving limitation, I'm also strengthening my argument of technology span of control dominance... which is infamously dubbed: The Infinite Clone Theory. As we integrate machines and AI into our universe, society is increasingly giving robots control to conduct jobs that normally humans employ. In this systematic way, mankind is essentially creating digital clones of a template of what the ideal worker / executor would be. This delegation of decision making could conduct tasks as small as writing java for cell phone apps to larger roles like regulating nuclear launch sequences. Going off into the science fiction scripts, the Terminator franchise again by visionary producer Mr. Cameron plays out this apocalyptic endgame on film well, including time travel... which just makes things more complicated! I reckon that most of the mainstream / societal paranoia about AI and machines originates from this cinematic juggernaut.
Dr. Kurzweil, former head of Google engineering, writes a book on the endstate, titled 'The Singularity Is Near,' which is cited over 8,587 times on google scholar. The moral of this tale is that machines will develop souls, superseding human evolutionary intelligence. As a pioneer in this field of machine learning, Dr. Kurzweil published his first paper 50 years ago which outlines a plan for immortality. For about 30 years his predictions have come true. With new discoveries in the fields of astronomy and astrophysics strengthening the argument that “we’re not alone,” many futurists marry the idea that aliens could be a form of super-advanced robots. I am a huge fan of the Transformers franchise and essentially Autonomous Robotic Organisms aka AUTOBOTS (Transformers) are the next generation of what Dr. Kurzweil is predicting. Various scientific fields, including business, focus in the area of AI research and development heavily with invested resources, guiding towards the convergence on this big picture idea of all sentient being's fate.
The Senior Philosopher would step in here and ask: why are we so collectively concerned with a fate that in some ways, we really can’t control beyond our own short life? It’s possible, we could be steering our own destiny in an unwise direction merely out of fear of the unknown. At a utilitarian level, mankind does not absolutely need androids or artificiality, Earth was doing fine for several billion years on it's own. Without advanced technology, natural life flourishes prolifically. For some strange reason: humanity yearns for unrelenting technological progress, attempting to over justify our desires into necessity.
Æther Arcade is a P.I.D.E.C. - Project of Imagination Designed with Engineers for Construction
Ascending from the notion and evidence pointing to facts that matter is not atomic, rather particles exist as a waveform which collapses into reality upon observational conception; makes me question if animated beings are nothing more than a composite of conscious resonating vibrations. In physics, mathematics, and related fields, a wave is a propagating dynamic disturbance of one or more quantities. Waves can be periodic, in which case those quantities oscillate repeatedly about an equilibrium value at some frequency. Logically, curing inconsistencies within a person’s spirit and the manifestation of consciousness into our living beings, could be solved de novo through a reharmonization of frequencies which have drifted out of rhythmic synchronization.
Humans are undoubtedly the summation of our previous decisions, plus the result of the choices and the effect those decisions have had on our fundamental frequencies - the vibrations generating failure or success and sickness versus health. The law of entropy dictates that our galactic omega is disorder, yet internally our instincts seek alignment and balance with the external environment. Perhaps there is one master control for each of our emotions, or sub-parameters imprinted in our biology framework engraining survival mechanisms amongst millions of years of evolutionary obstacles. Scanning these energy nodes must entail both qualitative and quantitative methods for data procurement and investigation.
Deoxyribonucleic acid is a polymer composed of two polynucleotide chains that coil around each other to form a double helix carrying genetic instructions for the development, functioning, growth and reproduction of all known organisms and many viruses. Theoretically, we can create an avatar housing a person's entity-data library becoming stabilized within a continuous quantum field. A reconstruction process comes next, which would summon a human’s whole spirit and physical body including D.N.A., then imperfections or disharmonious vibrations might be traced, grounded, and properly balanced through harmonies resonating with corrected aggregate frequencies.
Global cultures have viewed healing this energy path through realigning chakras. Traditionally, Chakras are idealized as various focal points used in a variety of ancient meditation practices, collectively denominated as Tantra, or the esoteric or inner traditions of Hinduism. The Chakras are part of esoteric medieval-era beliefs about physiology and psychic centers that emerged across Indian traditions. The belief held that human life simultaneously exists in two parallel dimensions, one "physical body" (sthula sarira) and other "psychological, emotional, mind, non-physical" it is called the "subtle body" (sukshma sarira). This subtle body is energy, while the physical body is mass. The psyche or mind plane corresponds to and interacts with the body plane, and the belief holds that the body and the mind mutually affect each other.
The subtle body consists of nadi (energy channels) connected by nodes of psychic energy called chakra. Beliefs grew into extensive elaboration, with some suggesting 88,000 chakras throughout the subtle body. The number of major chakras varied between various traditions, but they typically ranged between four and seven. Nyingmapa Vajrayana Buddhist teachings mention eight chakras and there is a complete yogic system for each of them. Without a blueprint to draw from: initially I am diving into the intersection of Chakra abundance against amplitude plus frequency of waveforms as a starting point to develop innovative metaphysical harmony instruments capable of obtaining pure equilibrium.
A radical and simplified way to envision Æther Arcade: as a research laboratory where I produce music, such as synthesizing audio waveforms that fit aurally in a musical composition. Now combining disciplines of philosophy, biology, computer science, and physics, a certain type of Doctor such as a Metaphysician can analyze the scan of a person's avatar and then apply sound based therapy on various levels. A professional session with a Metaphysician could range from anything rudimentary like listening to music during normal or altered states of consciousness, creating artistic compositions, and engaging in meditation to balance positive probabilities.
Reaching further to experiment technically amongst the binary code creating an avatar, skeptically hypothesizing, a scientist would be able to synergize the person with a balanced Aggregate Ethereal Temporal Host Operating System (AETHOS). A novel A.E.T.H.O.S design fusing new hardwired energies into the spirit, psyche, and body seamlessly. Eloquently tweaking the software of the soul through digitized waveform harmonization technology demonstrates Trailblazing Metaphysics as a powerful PIDEC vision for futurism. The quantum realm facilitates experimentation via simulations, bearing the fruits of innovation, in ways unachievable through our current reality bandwidth infrastructure. If vibrations in a person make up the song of their life, changing tempo, or one note, even the tuning of the scales and key, while peering through a humanitarian lens focuses on a wholistic form of alternative healing ripe for groundbreaking revelations.
